The price will be your co-pay, coinsurance if they split it up percentage with you, or deductible.
Here’s how you can find out exactly how much it will cost: The first session for psychotherapy has a CPT code of 90791, hour long follow up sessions are 90837. If you call your insurance company and ask them what you will owe for the first session and the follow up sessions – the answer you get will be the same for me and every other doctorate level (PsyD or PhD) therapist you would see. Being in-network means we are required to abide by your contract.
Cash Prices for Therapy:
Why Cash? You get full confidentiality. HIPAA protections do not apply to your insurance company, they can ask for your entire electronic chart and I have to send it in.
Therapy: $185 Cash – No insurance needed.
Testing and Assessment: 18+ – No insurance accepted for Testing
Testing for ADHD: $250 cash.
Testing for Anxiety / Depression: $250 cash.
